It was a very grey, drizzly day, so I concentrated on finding interesting details in the landscape, instead of the big picture. I was struck by the incongruity between the straight line that looked as if it was transplanted from somewhere on the M6 motorway and the wild, untouched place that it was found in.
This was taken in a valley in the Black Cuillins called Druim Hain, on the isle of Skye. We were dropped off by boat on the shore of Camas Fhionnairigh.
