This is in the walkway between the Thames footbridge and Charing Cross railway station. A typical urban scene where the feeling of insecurity is emphasized by the camera and the convex mirror. This was about 14:30 so I felt perfectly safe and, in fact, this walkway is closed in the evening.
You won't be able to see it very well at this size, but in the original you can see my reflection in the mirror, with two threatening looking guys approaching me from behind (nothing bad happened!) That adds just a bit extra to this shot and creates one of the 'stories' that I like my pictures to have.
