Buying Prints
It is useful to be able to see the photographs on-line, after all you want to see what you buy. However, my images really have a much greater impact when they are framed and hanging on your wall. I use professional grade Canon equipment and can therefore produce prints of any size without having to sacrifice sharpness or colour depth. The files on this web site are heavily compressed copies of the files that prints are made of.
Since January 2007 I am making my own prints. I bought a Canon iPF5000 printer that uses the Lucia ink set, 12 different cartridges. Making my own prints gives me much more control over the end product. I have experimented with many different papers canvas and have settled on using Hahnemühle stock. They are one of the best known art paper manufacturers and have huge experience producing fine art papers and canvas, their website states they have been in business since 1584! The archival quality of their products, the excellent colour depth, the weight and the great 'feel' of their papers help me to produce prints that will look superb on your wall.
For matt prints I use Photo Rag Bright White. For most of my images I would recommend the FineArt Pearl paper. A recent introduction is the very glossy FineArt Baryta paper. For prints on canvas I use Hahnemühle Goya.

The sizes refer to the size of the paper, I leave a white edge of about 1 cm. to make framing it easier. For Canvas prints I will leave a wider margin to facilitate stretching on a wooden frame. These prices include postage. After I have received payment troug PayPal your print(s) will be with you in approximately 5 working days.
